Toffee, Orange, and Caramel.


Peru is a truly beautiful country with a myriad of microclimates and historic treasures. At the same time, coffee continues to help people in truly rural communities that are difficult to reach. The height of the mountains means the top-quality coffees mature and ripen slowly. This gives the coffee wonderful complexity, allowing the sugars in the bean to develop in a way that brings out flavors of toffee and caramel, in conjunction with the citrus from the washed process, providing a truly unique experience. In general, the coffee has a light body and medium acidity, which works well for the heavy coffee drinker who will be chain-drinking cup after cup. Due to seasonality, this coffee cannot be fresh and available year-round, so please enjoy it while you can. Personal preference: double shot espresso when you know you are going to be drinking several coffees throughout the day.
